So glad you stopped by! You love to read and I love to write. We make a good team, don’t you think?
I love story. We each have one, and story is all around us in the faces of people we pass every day, in circumstances we encounter. And it’s my aim to combine my wild imagination with bringing to life stories others can relate to and get lost in.
That’s my aim–to give you stories that allow you to either identify or transcend.
And just in case you’re interested, here’s my story: After moving around a bit, I consider myself to have grown up in a small, little-known town called McPherson, KS. After all, that’s the place all my formative experiences took place. I was a lucky girl-two parents who loved me, two younger sisters I loved to boss around, and good friends. And if those weren’t enough, I had my imagination to keep me company. I’ve always been fascinated by story, and if I wasn’t using my imagination to write one, I was listening to my friends. Ultimately, this is what led me to pursue a career as a mental health therapist, which I still work at and enjoy to this day.
Somewhere along the way I moved to Michigan, where I met my husband, and where I continue to reside. It’s nice here–well, it’s nice here from about March to December. January and February are for the birds (those lucky ducks, migrating to FL!). I share my home with a supportive, hot husband and two amazing children (1 boy, 1 girl). Life is good, but stories are always evolving, aren’t they? I’m determined to make mine memorable, and I’ll work really hard to ensure the ones I write are the same.
